COMMUNITY STANDARDS & CODE OF CONDUCT
At The Connection Club, we are intentionally creating a space where people can meet, connect, and relate in ways that feel safe, respectful, and genuinely human.
These community standards exist to protect the quality of the experience — for everyone.
They aren’t about perfection.
They’re about care, participation, and shared responsibility.
OUR SHARED AGREEMENT
By attending a Connection Club event, you agree to the following:
🤓 SHOW UP WITH INTENTION
Come willing to participate — not perform, judge, or spectate.
Be curious, engaged, and open to real conversation.
It’s okay to feel nervous. You’ve got this!
You don’t have to be smooth — you do have to be respectful.
🧠 TREAT PEOPLE WELL (EVEN WHEN THEY’RE NOT YOUR PERSON)
Everyone deserves to feel seen, respected, and welcomed. We leave people better than we found them.
🚦 RESPECT BOUNDARIES & CONSENT
No pressure, coercion, or unwanted advances — verbal or physical.
A “no” or a lack of interest is always respected, without explanation required.
Touch only occurs with clear, enthusiastic consent.
Sexual comments, explicit language, or invasive questions are not appropriate in this space.
No photos or recordings without consent
📵 BE PRESENT & ENGAGED
Phones are put away during connection rounds.
Give your full attention for the time you’re connecting.
Presence doesn’t mean intensity — it means participation.
🍷 USE SUBSTANCES RESPONSIBLY (IF APPLICABLE)
If alcohol is present, moderation is expected.
Anyone who appears intoxicated or disruptive may be asked to leave.
Safety and comfort always take priority over continuation of attendance.
🌈 INCLUSION & RESPECT
The Connection Club welcomes people of all genders, orientations, backgrounds, and identities who share our values.
Discrimination, harassment, or derogatory language of any kind will not be tolerated.
🛑 FACILITATOR AUTHORITY
Event facilitators are here to support the experience and the safety of the group.
If behavior violates these standards, facilitators may intervene, redirect, or ask someone to leave.
Removal due to conduct does not entitle a participant to a refund.
The host may remove anyone who disrupts safety or comfort.
💬 QUESTIONS, FEEDBACK & ACCOUNTABILITY
Feedback is welcome and encouraged.
If something doesn’t feel right, please speak with a facilitator.
We take concerns seriously and address them thoughtfully.
Violation of these standards may result in removal without refund and/or ban from future events.
OUR COMMITMENT TO YOU
Our Promise:
creating clear structure and guidance
prioritizing safety, consent, and respect
fostering a culture of curiosity, courage, and emotional intelligence
In return, we ask you to meet us there.
FINAL NOTE
The Connection Club is not just about meeting people — it’s about how we treat them.
Thank you for helping us create a space where connection feels possible, enjoyable, and worth showing up for.
A Note on Our Community
The Connection Club is intentionally curated to create an environment that feels safe, welcoming, and supportive for genuine connection. In rare cases, we may determine that an event is not the right fit for a particular participant. If so, we’ll always communicate directly and issue a full refund. Our goal is to care for the experience of the whole group with kindness and integrity.
